The curtain fell this evening on the second edition of the Qatar Asian Junior Tennis Championship (Boys and Girls under 14), hosted by the Qatar Tennis Federation at the Khalifa International Complex over the course of a week.

Chinese player Yitian Lu clinched the Boys' singles title after defeating his Indian counterpart Darsh Khadekar in the final match with a clean sweep of 6-2, 6-4.

In the Boys' doubles competition, the duo of David Afayo from Thailand and Yitian Lu from China secured the title after defeating the team comprising David Raducan from Romania and Darsh Khadekar from India in the final match with a score of 6-1, 6-3, 10-7.

In the Girls' singles category, player He Lam Ella from Hong Kong claimed the title after defeating her Kazakh counterpart Polina Sushkova in straight sets with a score of 6-1, 6-1.

In the Girls' doubles competition, the duo of Ailara Kakabayeva from Turkmenistan and Polina Sushkova from Kazakhstan secured the title after defeating the team comprising Dana Khalifa from Qatar and Hani Tajomani from India in straight sets with a score of 7-5, 6-0.

The awards ceremony was presided over by Mr. Tariq Zainal, the General Secretary of the Qatar Tennis, Squash, Badminton, and Table Tennis Federation, in the presence of tennis enthusiasts.

Mr. Zainal congratulated the winners on their achievements, praising their strong performance and dedication to improving their skills through participation in these regional events.

He stated, "We view hosting these regional tournaments as a platform to support Qatari players first and foremost, as well as to contribute to the elevation of tennis in the Asian continent."
