QTF & Al Majed Open continues in style

The competitions of the first edition of QTF & Al Majed Open Tournament continued in style at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex.

In the early rounds of the event, Qatar’s Hamad Qasimi qualified to semifinals of boys under 18 years after beating Amin in Hassan 2-0.

Mohammad Amin Elioa also cruised to the semifinals of this category after defeating Abdulrahman Al Ghazal 2-0.

Mohammad Azizi Elioa reached the semifinals following his 2-1 victory over Eskandar Fridge.
In qualifications of boys under 12 years, Mostafa Yahya Nabil defeated Sangif Santhil in the quarterfinals to reach the semifinals.

Moreover, Bartholomy Landrin qualified to semifinals of boys under 12 years after edging past Bahaedin Mahfouz in the quarterfinals.

In the same category, Mohammad Yahya Nabil made it to the semifinals after the withdrawal of his opponent Brif Santhil.

As for the main rounds of boys under 12 years, Jassim Al Mahmoud qualified to the second round after the withdrawal of Aziz Majed Al Khelaifi.

Alexandar Lion and Nawaf Al Shammari also reached the second round.

In Women’s Category, Marcela Lusia qualified to the Semifinals following the withdrawal of her opponent Danis Aladjan.

Roby Santos and Seyada Ardi also made it to the semifinals after beating Elin Abbas and Morin Ortiz respectively in the quarterfinals.

To conclude on November 2, the event features the participation of 170 players including 46 national teams’ players who compete in different age groups including boys under 10, 12, 14, and 18 years in addition to Men’s and Women’s categories.
