January 2, 2012 - Doha, Qatar – Opening night at the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2012 was not just about tennis, but also football stardom. European football giant Paris St. Germain are in Doha training at Aspire Zone from January 1-5, 2012 and they took time away from their training camp to watch the tennis action on Monday night at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex. As the event celebrates the 20th anniversary of professional tennis in Doha, champion footballers from France joined in to watch their fellow athletes take to the courts. The players were greeted in the Emiri Lounge by Qatar Tennis Federation President, Nasser Al Khelaifi. In attendance were PSG Sporting Director and Brazilian footballer Leonardo, current coach Carlo Anchelotti, and players including Marcos Ceara, Kevin Gameiro, Melvut Erding, Salvatore Sirigu, Siaka Tiene, and Diego Lugano. After watching the Center Court match between Russian Alex Bogomolov and Italian Filippo Volandri, the team took a tour of the venue and saw action around the grounds in the VIP Village, Public Village and Traditional Souq. They were treated to some traditional falconry in the Arabic tent
